Ford Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)

Race-Spec carries two versions of Ford TPS sensors that are compatible with throttles that rotate in opposite directions. Please note that the indicated sensor direction and appropriate throttle body shaft rotate opposite each other, see Figure 1.
Both versions are terminated to an industry standard Deutsch DTM 3-position connector and follow the same pinout, as follows:

The supplied mating connector kit includes solid contacts, as standard, which can be crimped with any of the below tooling. Alternatively, stamped and formed contacts are available separately and can be crimped with common open barrel crimp tools, such as Race-Spec Economy crimper (small).

- AF8 w/ TH1A or Rennsteig cross
- MH860 w/ 86-1S positioner or Rennsteig cross
- AFM8 w/ K1S positioner or Rennsteig cross
- Sargent Solid Contact crimper
